A Personalized Education Opportunity for Students in Grades 1-8 
SCFS is a public charter school where students, parents, staff and the community partner to set high academic standards to be achieved through home, individual and group instruction. Our school is designed for families who want to take an active role in their children's education.  Parents provide home-school instruction customized with lesson plans provided by certified staff. Students participate in a weekly Community Day and invidualized conferences/tutoring taught by certified staff. Our services and curriculum are provided at NO cost to our families.

We opened in September 2004 with 50 students in grades 1-12. Our current enrollment is 55 in grades 1-8. Enrollment is open to families residing in Scappoose or St. Helens School Districts. Others may apply. Our maximum enrollment is 70.

We are located in the Scappoose School District. We are a school within a school and will soon have a facility of our own located at the Warren Elementary School site on the corner of Berg Road and Highway 30.
