| About SCFS |
| SCFS is a non-profit charter that receives public school funding for its
operations. It is governed by a board of directors and operates according to
a charter agreement with its sponsor Scappoose School District. As a charter school, SCFS is granted a specific amount of freedom (determined by state law and the charter) from federal and state requirements concerning the structure, curriculum, and educational emphasis of the school. In return for this freedom, the school will demonstrate accountability for the achievement and performance outcomes of the students who are enrolled. The result is an innovative and creative learning option for students and families. |
